Tan Sri Dr Azmil Khalili Bin Dato’ Khalid
Independent Non-Executive Chairman

Tan Sri Dr Azmil Khalili Bin Dato’ Khalid was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and Northrop University, USA, in 1984 and his Master of Business Administration (“MBA”) from California State University, USA, in 1986. He was conferred his Doctorate of Science (Honorary) by the University of Hertfordshire, UK, in November 2013.

He has an extensive background in various industries, including construction, finance, and infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has held significant leadership positions in well-known companies, namely Komplek Kewangan Malaysia Berhad (now known as Amanah Capital Malaysia Berhad), MTD Capital, Citibank Malaysia Berhad and WCT Engineering Berhad, to name a few. In addition, he has been involved in numerous listing exercises and corporate strategies. In 2017, he established AFK Group Sdn Bhd, focusing on family office management and investment holding.

Yeo Hock Cheong
Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer
Yeo Hock Cheong was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. He is also our Chief Executive Officer and a substantial shareholder. In addition, he was appointed as the Executive Director and CEO of Bio Eneco Sdn Bhd since March 2018 and is responsible for determining our Group’s strategic direction and business development. He has an extensive business background, particularly in the selling and distributing of scrap metal and related recycled products. Over the years, he has founded and co-founded several companies across different industries, including agriculture products, transportation and weighing services, and business management consultancy.

Salihudin Mohd Razali
Executive Director / Finance Director
Salihudin Mohd Razali was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 10 January 2024. He also serves as our Finance Director and is responsible for managing and advising on the group's strategic financial direction.

He obtained a Bachelor of Accounting with honours from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1996.

He has held various positions in financial institutions public and private and companies and the stock exchange, gaining experience in corporate finance, investment banking and securities markets. Whilst at Bursa Malaysia, he was recognised by PETRONAS for his effort in driving initiatives to encourage listing for companies in Malaysia's oil and gas sector. He also served as the Head of the Capital Market Division at a mid-sized audit firm, where he was responsible for preparing potential companies for initial public offering exercises and evaluating the financial performances of small-to-medium enterprises for fundraising exercises.

Dr Wang Hong
Non-Independent Non-Executive Director

Dr Wang Hong was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Semiconductor Physics and Devices) from Zhejiang University, China in 1988, Master of Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 1998 and 2001 respectively.

He has an extensive background in research and development, starting as a graduate engineer in a Chinese research institution and later working with the British Telecom Laboratories. He has been involved in micro and nanoelectronics and photonics R&D at NTU and is presently an Associate Professor at the NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Tan Suat Hoon
Independent Non-Executive Director
Tan Suat Hoon was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. She is also the Chairman of our Audit and Risk Management Committee and a member of our Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee.

She obtained her Diploma in Commerce (Management Accounting) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Kuala Lumpur, in 1992. She was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom (“CIMA”) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom (“ACCA”) in 1996 and as a Fellow in 2001 for both CIMA and ACCA. She has also been admitted as a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) since 1996. She is presently a member of CIMA and MIA.

She has over 20 years of professional experience in corporate finance, advisory and debt capital markets.

Ahmad Lutfi B.Abdull Mutalip @ Talib
Independent Non-Executive Director
Ahmad Lutfi B.Abdull Mutalip @ Talib was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. He is also the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee and Remuneration Committee.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from International Islamic University Malaysia in August 1995. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1996 and obtained his professional qualification as a Chartered Secretary and Administrator from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom (External), in the same year.

Ahmad Lutfi started his career as a Legal Assistant and was subsequently promoted to a Partner at Hisham Sobri & Kadir, a law firm. He later set up the law firm Azmi & Associates in September 2000, where he currently serves as the Managing Partner and Head of Global Financial Services and Islamic Banking.

Rozainah Binti Baharuddin
Independent Non-Executive Director
Rozainah Binti Baharuddin was appointed to the Board of Directors of Elridge Energy Holdings Berhad on 1 February 2024. She is also the Chairman of our Remuneration Committee and a member of our Audit and Risk Management Committee and Nomination Committee.

She graduated from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies with Honours in Business Economics in July 1996. In December 2000, she was subsequently certified as a member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (now known as the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants). She has also been a member of the MIA since April 2001.

Rozainah brings with her a wide range of work experience encompassing audit, investment banking, finance and human resource having held roles in KPMG, Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad and CIMB Investment Bank Berhad. She later joined Khazanah Nasional Berhad for the purpose of setting up and operationalising Khazanah Research Institute and subsequently took on the role of Director and Chief Operating Officer of the aforementioned Institute.
